They brought them back, but I don’t think they taste the same. Anyone try them lately and do you remember what they used to be like?
They used to be more chewy, the centers were harder than they are now, and they were bigger. Now they look like glorified jelly beans, they're tiny and the centers are soft, even softer than Jelly Belly jellybeans. They did away with grape flavor and replaced it with blue raspberry which has pretty good flavor, but I think they should do away with the green lime flavor and bring back the grape. They are only 88 cents a box at Wal Smart, cheaper than dollar store candy which is fine with me. I still love the Good & Plenty licorice candy better!

Yeah! I remember!!
I also remember their arch nemesis “Good and Plenty”… remember those? They were pink and white coated black licorice bits. I was so happy when Good and Fruity came around. As a little kid, I wasn’t too fond of black licorice…
Anyway, they (and most candies) are different. Now the companies are so concerned with bottom-line profits that they have compromised something that once contained relatively wholesome ingredients. Now they are so loaded with garbage like corn syrup, gums and artificial flavors… yuck. I don’t even buy candy from stores anymore.
But.. once, they were delicious.
P.S. You know what I just heard? I heard they use aspartame in “Juicy Fruit” gum, now… isn’t that sad? That used to be the BEST gum!
