Rock Candy?

I had a project on rock candy. Can someone please read and edit this around for me please.
1.When I poured the sugar into the almost boiling water it solutes
with the water.

2. The water was a solvent variable in my experiment.

3.My solution included water, sugar, and food coloring.

4.The water was an unsaturated solution before the liquid cooled.

5.The saturated solution in my project was the water combined
With the sugar when the water was heated.

6.The rock candy was made by the water not being able to dissolve
the supersaturated solution leaving behind crystallized chunks of
sugar.
