Daisymae I hear you ! I don't care for it these days either ..but maybe 30 or 35 years ago someone entered me in a girls beer-drinking contest ..and leading me to it ..and I think I came in last .

Its been twenty years since I won a beer chugging contest at a bar. I entered on a bet and was surprised when I won. The prize ended up being a free pitcher of beer which was the last thing that I wanted but my friends sure enjoyed it.

Many, many, many years ago. I remember a contest, of such, when I was in my early (very early) twenties. It ended when one of the guys threw up all over the table and anyone that was seated close by.

1975. I lost the beer drinking contest, but later won $100 in the wet T-shirt contest at the same bar! YaHOO! I had the best headlights in those days! Ahhhhh…memories.
Thankfully, I no longer drink alcohol or indulge in those types of activities any longer.

My husband did 10 years ago and you had to eat a sao biscuit (for non Aussies its a dry biscuit) while drinking a very large glass of beer, It is so funny as the biscuit swells and its almost impossible to down the drink in 30 seconds.I might add he never did it again but as we were at a music hall function at the time,it was all in good fun.

I read in the paper that the number of bars per capita in the area where I live are among the highest in the nation. So, personally speaking, it's been a long time for me. But, others in the area that I live in are making up for it!

I don't drink, do drugs or even smoke cigarettes anymore, I haven't for many years, but back during my trampin' years I was well known for putting everybody to bed. I had people all over this country challenge me. We'd go for days and nights on end going beer for beer, shot for shot, toke for toke and drop for drop. I never lost but that could have been because that was my typical way of life. It's what I did every day and night. I hardly ever slept and would start every day with a half rack and 20 or so bong tokes just to get the day going, and then go from there.
