sims 2 pets :getting a golden egg?

i have been playing sims 2 pets for a long long time but i cant seem to find how to get a golden egg. can anyone pls tell me how to get it?

      Buy the chicken checkers and beat the chicken, he shall reward you with a golden egg…but make sure you have a high logic skill in order to do this
