It depends. Is it still working? If it is make sure you dry and clean it real well. There is a chance your Dad may not notice. If it doesn’t - there is not much you can do, besides admitting your fault.
You should be honest, as always. Let it dry and see if it works. But fess up either way. Do not let someone try and fix that without your Dad. It will likely need a replacement keyboard and that’s all. The problem is not yet critical.
First, calm down. Chill out. Wipe the coffee completely. Any marks or clues, clean them dry. If it’s between the buttons, get a cotton swab and dig between the spaces of the buttons. Put a tad bit of water on it aswell. Or fold tissue and wipe though it. Then give the laptop a clean down. Good as new
Does the laptop work still? If so I recommend taking a damp, NOT WET cloth and rubbing the key area to reduce the notice of the coffee. If it still works then I’d just play it off like nothing happened. lol. Also, if that picture is of you, you can come over and I’ll clean it. lol
power it off, and quickly. If it is working that is. Then turn it over and try to drain the liquid. Use a vacume if necessary. Then wipe everything clean.
First tell him it was an accident. then ask him if is still under warranty. then it will be fixed. cuz if brake something and dont tell my parents i get into HUGE trouble. so tell him first then figure out what ur options are.
Turn it over and vacuum out the portion of the keyboard. make sure you get all the grounds. Laptop keyboards are replacable, and not terribly expensive, so be sure to tell your father. It would not do if he were taking it on a business trip and the keyboard stopped working. If that was Turkish coffee you almost certainly have damage from the sugar and grounds.

Give the laptop a doughnut.
