Ok, so when I go to Starbucks, I always used to get the Mocha Frap, but one morning it was cold, so instead i got a “mocha latte”. i don’t know if thats even a real drink, but they gave me something. If I want like a deep strong coffee, what is that called? Like I don’t know how to get coffee, are there different kinds of hot coffee or just one type, and expresso’s confuse me, yeah so could someone help me out?

If times allows and there is no long line. Just ask the clerk, they can best answer any of your questions and suggest to you the best drink to buy at Starbucks.

deep strong coffee is either drip coffee, plain espresso shot, or an americano, which is espresso with hot water.
a latte is steamed milk with espresso shot plus flavor if u want
a mocha is steamed milk with espresso plus chocolate (mocha latte isnt really a drink, its either or)
at starbucks, a tall gets one shot of espresso in either a mocha, latte or americano. grande gets two, and so on.

Coming from a Starbucks barista, you should get the mocha, but if you want an extra shot (talls get 1 grande and venti get 2) then you can ask for one so that way you get more coffee taste. Or if you want less of a mocha taste you can ask for less pumps of the mocha. (talls get 3 grandes 4 venti 5)
If you just want coffee, then ask the barista at the register for a brewed coffee, depending on your location they’ll have different coffees brewing, just ask them whats available and if it’s strong or not.
