stir fry, what should i let pork soak in?

July 22nd, 2008 · 8 Comments

it's pre-cooked pork (leftovers, actually). i'm going to make stir fry with bell peppers, onions, carrots, rice, eggs. i usually use bbq sauce and soy sauce.
i'm not cooking for a couple hours, what should i let the pork soak in to enhance flavor because it's kind of dry and dull.
actually, i'm going to serve the rice separately.

I like using orange juice as a pork marinade, it softens the meat up

Anything handy that you like for the flavour.
Apple Cider, Ginger Ale, Cranberry Juice, etc.

You could try using chicken stock. It will tenderize and lightly season the meat.

since the pork is a leftover ,while heating up some 2 T olive oil -add some crushed garlic and soy sauce to the chopped pork then stir fry quickly and sat to the side until you have everything else ready to sir fry and just add the pork to the veggies after they're done.

Sherry wine and Lea and Perrins Chicken Worsteshire sauce, onion and garlic powder, some sriracha chili/garlic sauce and 2 teaspoons of brown sugar dissolved in the mix.
