Some adamantly believe coffee beans should be stored in the freezer, others say refrigerator, yet others insist only in room temperature. How should I store my coffee beans so I don’t lose the natural oils and flavour?

I’ve heard the same advise but lately I leave the coffee in the kitchen counter and it does well.

Stick it up Burt C’s @ss. Sure it’s not the best place to store the beans, but let’s just stick it up there anyways!
Bring an extra set of gloves Mustang Nik buddy. We don’t know where his butt has been =P

In a clay jar. Believe me, I am an addict of home-brewed coffee and I always get compliments for the aroma! =]

Room temperature. Put your beans in an airtight glass jar. Buy only as many beans as you will use in a weeks time. Storing this way will prevent loss of the natural oils and flavour of your coffee.

I leave them in a jar on the counter, but I’m not a coffee bean expert.
The only place I know that you shouldnt store them is Y!A because theyll all be gone in 5 minutes.

Sticking them up my butt, like Sonic says, will actually come out smelling like roses.
But whole coffee beans they should be store between 68-85 degree room temperature on tight seal container,,,According to the directions on my Starbuck coffee beans bags.
But if Sonic drinks coffee out of people’s butt, then a temperature of 98 degree will be appropiate for him…
