I LOOVEEE cottage cheese; I can live off of it alone. haha.
But, I don’t think I would be able to lose weight by ONLY eating cottage cheese (correct me if I’m wrong), so what else can I add for balance?
This is go along with daily running
Thanks

Vegetables, high fibre foods, and lean proteins.

i wish i loved cottage cheese its such a nutrition dense food. I gag on it everynight. eat it at night and lift weights. The cottage cheese is almost pure casein and whey protein. It digests slow to give you an anabolic state while you sleep and give you more lean muscle even though it does have a decent amount of calories and fat it shouldn’t hurt if you are lifting and running. Eat chicken tuna brocoli and brown rice during the day and oatmeal and eggs at breakfast.

You can eat fat-free cottage cheese at every meal and every snack, if you want to. It’s very high in protein. But you also should add a small amount of starch — with fiber is best, like beans or whole grain. And you should have fruit or a vegetable. You can spread these foods out and have a mini-meal every couple of hours if you want.
If you’re running, you might need more carbs (starch) than most people, and more protein.

Maybe a couple spoons a day, but cottage cheese is dairy and dairy has fat in it. A diet rich in fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds eaten in a unprocessed uncooked form with a bit of cottage cheese in addition is fine.
