  Caffeine - trimethylxanthine (a xanthine alkaloid)

  Coffee is made from the beans of the plants Coffea canephora and Coffea arabica.

  The drink coffee's name is derived from "qahweh" in aribic probably from the kaffa area in ethiopia where the beverage is belived to have originated.

  The two main cultivated species of the coffee plant are Coffea canephora and Coffea arabica.
  Arabica coffee (from C. arabica) is considered more suitable for drinking than Robusta coffee (from C. canephora), as Robusta tends to be bitter and have less flavor than arabica.
  Caffeine is a bitter white crystalline xanthine alkaloid, which is also called guaranine when found in guarana, mateine when found in mate, and theine when found in tea : all of these names are synonyms for the same chemical compound.
