Due to a recent epidemic in my fishtank, I have an an odd assortment of fishes. I have a 20 gallon freshwater. What I have: (please, i know it’s awful, just answer the question!):
- common pleco
- albino corry catfish
- 4 large black neon tetras
- 2 white clouds (1 male, 1 female)
- 1 neon tetra
- 1 zebra danio (female)
- 1 female golden molly
input please?

Buy at least 3 more Neon tetras, a few more Zebra Danios, and a couple more mollies… That should even it out better.

dont buy 1 neon tetra or buy 4 neon tetras!
buy atleast 4 zebra danios!
i think u shouldnot buy mollies, they’re aggressive if not in groups!

Get at least 3 or 4 more neon tetras and zebra danios. Both species are schooling fish and do best in groups.

You are at maximum stocking levels now, that will be why you have managed to kill so many fish recently.
I wouldn’t consider stocking anything more for a few months until things have been sorted out.
You really could do with re-homing the plec before it gets too big (2feet), you could replace it with a bristle-nose they don’t get over 6″
