My favorite is Charles Shaw White Zinfandel. It is fruity and very delicious. Trader Joe’s carries it for $3.29 a bottle. Charles Shaw’s Chardonnay won best wine at the California Wine Festival. He has excellent wines.
Don’t go white zin - it’s the Bud Light of wines. It is kind of fruity, but mostly just sickeningly sweet, not to mention that it’s not a red wine as you requested. It’s a wine for people that hate wine.
I agree with the suggestions of blends, as well as Trader Joe’s. My favorite wine is a blend that runs around $10, and it’s Folie a Deux’s Menage a Trois, so named because it is a blend of three different varietals. It’s a very “drinkable” wine, but also very well-reviewed and generally liked all around.
Trader Joe’s wines are especially good for determining the family of wines that you like. Since you like fruity, I’ll suggest the big brother to the sugarwater and say you should try a few Red Zinfandels. Red Zin is a proper red, it’s just a bit “bigger” than most other reds, meaning it has a more distinct fruity flavor and a slightly higher alcohol content. It also pairs quite well with some of the best foods, notably beef/steak and tomato-based dishes like most pastas.
If you’re looking for an inexpensive red wine with fruity characteristics firstly it has to be young and secondly made by carbonic maceration which will give it a fruity taste.
So look no further than the majority of wines from the Beaujolais region of France.
Although they are maligned the Beaujolais Noveau which will be in winestores at the end of November is the perfect inexpensive, fruity red wine you are looking for.
well a friend of a friend of friend U GET THE POINT Told Me This Kind Was Good Here’s the Description : Pinot Noir Pronunciation: pee-no NWAHR Notes: This earthy red varietal wine goes best with beef, ham, poultry, salmon, or tuna. Unfortunately, making it is tricky business, so the quality varies tremendously. A good one will be expensive and sublime. Substitutes: Cabernet Sauvignon OR Syrah

Campo Viego Rioja. Great with most food and on its own.

try the “blended” reds.
what i mean by that, is the wines that don’t have a certain grape, or style. These are usually sweeter than specific types.
example: Red Truck, its smooth, fruity and fairly inexpensive. Most liquor stores have a selction of these.

The Barefoot brand is inexpensive and rated pretty well. If you like fruity, I would go with their Zinfandel, Merlot, or Syrah.
Enjoy!!!

Beaujolais is nice. I like fruity whites, but beaujolais is about the only red I like, and my friends that like reds like it too.

I agree with cavegal
If you want a really fruity inexpensive red get Beaujolais
Something like a Fleurie is very good if you want something a bit nicer than basic ones
Georges Duboeuf is a sound producer if you can find his wines
