about every couple months I get these boils or staph infections under my arms. that’s the only place i get them and i’ve been to an infections disease doctor, had one cut open at the hospital, i’ve had Them pop on there own, sometimes get them on both at the same time, sometimes i get them so bad i can’t even put my arm all the way down i really can’t put no pressure on the arm they burn so bad. I’ve dealt with this for 7 year’s now. Nobody can give me a cure for this.

A boil is a localized infection deep in the skin. A staph infection is one cause of a boil but not the only one.
Even though anyone and everyone can get boils, some people are more at risk. The most common situation is believed to be clogged sweat glands or hair follicles that become infected. It is also possible for a scratch or any other break in the skin to become infected. Believe it or not an ingrown hair can also be the cause.
People with compromised or suppressed immune systems are more susceptible as well. That includes people with diabetes or kidney disease. Immune suppressing medications can also cause boils to form, especially cortisone, prednisone, prednisolone and medications used by cancer patients. General poor health can also make you more susceptible as well as tight fitting clothing that chafes the skin and acne and dermatitis as well.
The first thing to do is to treat any of the causes above. Then, if you happen to get a rare boil there are things you can use on it, such as tea tree oil, iodine, epsom salt baths, baking soda paste, or calendula cream. Warm compresses to bring the boil to a head are helpful.
