What’s this called in japanese food?

Well,we went to a japanese buffet last night and they go all of this raw foods and stuff.

But there is this one thing and I think it is sliced fish and I also think that it is raw.Some said that it was tuna,was it really tuna?
btw,they dip in into some kind of sauce

    Raw slices of tuna are common in japanese sushi. You can look at this website for more information about sushi, especially tuna.

    Uhh…a lot of people eat raw fish, it’s sushi…and tuna is a pretty common sushi fish.

    Sliced raw fish is called sashimi, and it was probably tuna. You dip it into soy sauce mixed with wasabi (a type of horseradish)
