      First of all, thanks to Woooo Hoooo!!! “WWRD?” is my newest phrase.
      Second, I don’t know what his problem is. If you’re off the clock and leaving, he should relax.

      IF you are still at work, NO.

      I sense that is what you mean.

      If you are at home, hell yeah it is not only ok but necessary.

      EDIT: you might not like the answer but you still have to put on a show of professionalism for you represent the business/company until you leave the building and parking lot, and if you have company car, that too.
