Do you fry some onions with them in the pan for flavor?
My husband doesn’t eat the onions, but likes the flavor they add to the burgers. I LOVE the onions and eat them all!
When you fry hamburgers…?

I don’t usually cook hamburger (sometimes I grill ‘em, tho), but onions make almost anything taste better!!!!

I like my hamburger meat to have diced onions inside. Top that with steak sauce and I’ll give you the keys to my car.

I actually add them to the burger when frying. I’m guessing Its a matter of taste preference really. my hubby doesn’t really care for em, so I mince the onions for the flavor -he’ll still eat them.

I haven’t in the past but sure will in the future! If I make my patties from ground beef (in otherwords, don’t buy like “Bubba Burgers, the frozen, already formed patties) then I will usually chop up onion and put in the meat along with spices before I fry it. I loves me some onions too!!

Onions are great on most any food. I have never fried them with hamburgers before. I’ll have to give it a try thanks.

I’ve never fried a hamburger, but I’m all about throwing them on the barbeque no matter what time of year, yes even in snow.
I love the onions and grill them too; big fat slices. Yum!
End the meal with some fresh grilled pineapple.

Now I’m the opposite. I have a fit if someone fries them in the pan. I like them cold on my burger while my husband either loves them fried the pan along with his burger and then he eats them with his burger or has them already chopped up in his meat. I don’t want them anywhere near my meat before or during the cooking process even if it requires two separate pans…I don’t know why or where I got this picky, and it just started in the last couple of years because cooked onions started making me very gassy but I will eat a slice cold on top of my burger. It’s truly ridiculous on my part and has stopped my husband from cooking me burgers except on the grill outside because he always forgets and “I complain” too much.
I do “adore” the taste, but my tummy cannot take them anymore. I cannot even eat my favorite treat of homemade beer batter onion rings anymore….what a shame.
Peace & Love

Have you ever tried using diced onions and folding them into the hamburger patties? You husband might like them in that manner.
One of the things I learned in Survival Training in the Military was the use of Wild Onions in cooking game.

When I pan fry cheese burgers - I add a can of pork and beans. After the burgers are done - right when you add the cheese - also add the pork and beans - and cover the pan until the cheese is melted. It adds flavor to the burgers and the beans. Then serve the burgers on toasted English muffins - its GREAT ♥

Yes but I don’t care for them other then the flavor. Try putting some
onions in your half fried poratoes. Great
