I personally believe it was the chicken. God created chickens, and then they laid eggs.
And if the egg came first, it would have been eaten by some hungry animal before it hatched, or it would die by freezing with no nice warm chicken butt to sit on it.

A circle has no beginning (The circle is like the chicken lays the egg, the egg hatches, then that chicken lays an egg, and so forth)

Technically the egg came first. Dinosaurs laid eggs before animals evolved into chickens.

: A chicken and an egg are lying in bed.
The chicken is leaning against the headboard smoking a cigarette, with a satisfied smile on its face.
The egg, clearly angry, grabs the sheet, rolls over, and says,
"Well, I guess we finally answered THAT question."
