Ok I know this is gross so please hear me out.
I have an 11 year old cousin that I have temporary custody of through the court. She was basically being neglected and abandoned by her mother.
Well she has been recently been complaining about white cottage cheese discharge in her genital area. Outside the vagina. She says it doesnt hurt or itch but it has a smell.
I have made it where she comes to me about any and everything and I want her to feel comfortable around me about asking about her body and sex.
So I decided to examine her on the bed and sure enough, there was white cottage cheese globs outside her vagina and it smelled sort of musty. Not fishy at all.
I know this could be a possible yeast infection but isnt she too young to have one? she’s only 11. what else could this be?
we are going to the doctor on Wednesday.

no shes not to young to have one. that sounds like wat it is..just go to the local drug store n get some vagisil or w/e they have for a yeast infection..good luck

It is possible for her to get a yeast infection at her age. You need to keep the appointment with the doctor and have that checked out. If it doesn’t itch or hurt, it could just be discharge because she is close to getting her periods.
Sounds like you have formed a real bond with this girl. Try to keep the communications open so she will always have someone to come to in times of need.

Sounds like a yeast infection. She’s not too young to get one.

no one is too young for a yeast infection, i had a mild yeast infection at age 3.
and its possible to have such discharge without pain or itching. she has a yeast infection.
