Every time I drink Vodka, whether it be shots or a mixed drink with Vodka, I get sick after the night is over and the whole next day I feel like crap! I drink fairly often and I can drink rum, tequila etc. and not get sick. What about vodka makes my stomache upset?

OMG…duh.
You obviously have zero tolerance for the stuff.
But keep drinking it. Really. Maybe it'll go away……NOT.
Is it really that important to have freaking vodka? There's much better out there than just that….

I had a thing similar. But me it was Tequila. I drink everything else but for me tequila was making me really sick. So once I went to see a Kinesiologist cause I was injured. So first he looked at what I eat or drink. So i said all kinds of alcohol and every kind including tequila. He put a little amount of everything I said and when he put tequila, I was all weak and stuff. So he asked me if I felt good when I took tequila. So I said no and he said that my body just couldn't take it. It's like a rejection. He said some people after a while (like many months) without taking any or a certain substance (vodka for you) are able to take it again. Some can't. So I ddint touch tequila for 5 months and now i don't feel weak or bad after I take a shot!
Hope it helped you a little maybe. If you have any questions about this just ask

If you're having it straight, at room temperature, it can bring about a bad reaction. Try a good vodka like Monopolwa cold from the freezer next time and re-post.

That doesnt make sense. Vodka is more simple and pure than the other liquors you mentioned. It is esentially distilled ethanol and water. The rest contain that plus other triats or additives of what it was distilled from.
Stay away from rot-gut vodka. The more you spend the better you experience will probably be. I try to steer clear of anything less expensive than Smirnoff.
